Two tattoos started in two days

Tattoo is one day old. A little concerned about the shading in the trees. Unless I shine bright lights on it, the middle section looks almost solid black. Is there any hope that the shading will lighten up with healing and some of the detail shows a little more?

I need a cover up design for this please. I met a guy last year. He was sweet and everything I’ve ever wished for. He turned out to be extremely toxic. We got these at his favorite tattoo artist and I can’t see it anymore.. It mocks me every day and it reminds me how dumb I was.
